Now that the primary trailer for Mortal Kombat II dropped earlier this week, director Simon McQuoid’s free to speak about how this follow-up builds on the 2021 reboot.
Speaking to IGN, McQuoid opened up on making certain the second film delivered on the promise of the primary film, specifically having the real fighting tournament that options franchise characters beating the hell out of one another.
