The Sphere’s model of The Wizard of Oz has already drawn controversy over its use of AI. Now we all know one other unsettling ingredient has been launched into the Hollywood basic: a likeness of Warner Bros. Discovery CEO and president David Zaslav.
No, actually: the exec, together with the Sphere’s government chairman and CEO, James Dolan, shall be superimposed on the faces of uncredited background characters in what are apparently blink-and-you’ll-miss-them appearances. The stunt is to have fun the film’s monumental screening collection on the Sphere in Las Vegas.
